Guests at this year’s national‑day reception hosted by the Hungarian Embassy in Belgrade at the Beli Dvor Palace travelled in a sustainable way: shuttle service was provided by an Ikarus 80e fully electric midibus.

The event offered a perfect opportunity to showcase the zero‑emission bus, which is designed for urban operations; at 8.5 metres in length it provides seating for 18 passengers and can carry up to 60 people. Independent wheel suspension and a lightweight construction ensure a smooth, energy‑efficient ride. The midibus’s 200 kW electric motor is paired with a 282 kWh LFP battery, giving it a range of roughly 410 kilometres on a single charge. By using the Ikarus 80e for the transfer, the embassy underlined Hungary’s support for sustainable transport and its confidence in the domestic bus industry.
