Kaposvár’s new image – and its new electric buses

The city of Kaposvár is preparing for the future with a new image and new electric buses.

The first example of the city’s new fleet colour appeared on an Ikarus 120e that entered service in 2022 and was recently repainted【945028585015638†L7-L9】. The new vehicles will wear the same burgundy shade as the city’s earlier CNG‑fuelled buses. The 12.9‑metre, fully low‑floor Ikarus 120e can carry 111 passengers and offers a range of up to 580 kilometres. The refreshed design and electric propulsion together symbolise Kaposvár’s commitment to modern, environmentally friendly transport.
