Hello Balatonfüred! – electric Ikarus at Lake Balaton

Within the Green Bus Programme, Balatonfüred has joined Keszthely, Komárom and Hajdúszoboszló in welcoming new Ikarus electric buses.

The lakeside city has put into service low‑floor Ikarus 120e buses, 12.9 metres in length and capable of carrying 111 passengers. Their energy‑efficient drivetrain and LFP batteries provide a range of up to 580 kilometres, ensuring reliable operation even during peak summer traffic. Ikarus is proud that its domestically manufactured electric vehicles are now serving one of Hungary’s prime tourist destinations, promoting environmentally friendly public transport.
