Hajdúszoboszló – another electric bus in the spa town

Hajdúszoboszló, famous for its thermal baths, has joined the Green Bus Programme: a fully low‑floor Ikarus 120e electric bus has entered service in the town, offering seating for 30 passengers and space for 55 standing.

The vehicle is part of Volánbusz’s order for 20 Ikarus 120e buses that will operate in six Hungarian cities. With a length of 12.9 metres, energy‑efficient drivetrain and a range of up to 580 kilometres, the Ikarus 120e is an ideal choice for greening regional transport. Deploying the bus in Hajdúszoboszló further strengthens the presence of the Hungarian electric‑bus manufacturer in the country’s public transport system.
